Scurvy Sailfish guide

Winter nights in Forsaken Shores are when Scurvy Sailfish bites, with Shrimp as bait and any weather. It is an Unusual fish, and its description says it is a swift, skilled jumper found near rocky shores, with Agility that makes it hard to land.

The weight range is wide: 10 to 139.8 kg, averaging 40 kg, and the maximum ranks 265th of 663. The price per kg is low at C$4.3, so an average catch sells for about C$172, 515th of 742 by value, with 140 base XP.

Cutlass Fish is the only other Unusual fish documented in the zone. Great Rod Of Oscar and Scurvy Rod are sold in Forsaken Shores, which makes the loop easy: pick up a rod, bring Shrimp, wait for Winter and fish through the night.

Practical take: this sailfish is a good middle-step catch. It pays better than the Common fish in the same zone and gives decent XP, but it is not worth a special trip. If you are fishing Forsaken Shores in Winter anyway, keep your Shrimp stocked and sell what you catch. Its value comes from being one of just two Unusual options, which makes it more frequent than a Rare or Legendary roll.
