Astral Rod

Astral Rod is a limited rod that you can no longer get. It was listed as Free, which says a lot about how it was handed out: it was a giveaway item, not something you saved up for. Today it only exists in the inventories of players who claimed it back then.

Its numbers are modest. Luck is 30, Lure Speed is 10, Control is 0.05 and Resilience is 5, with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg. Those stats would sit near the bottom of any ranking of rods you can still obtain, so the rod was never about raw performance. The draw is its passive: every fish caught has a 5% chance of becoming Lunar, a mutation that raises the value of whatever you reel in.

If you own one, the practical advice is simple. Keep it as a collector's item or as a mutation-fishing tool for casual sessions, but do not rely on it to farm rare fish, because 30 Luck and 10 Lure Speed make for slow bites. If you do not own one, there is nothing to chase: no shop, quest or zone currently offers it, so spend your effort on an obtainable rod with higher Luck instead.
