Haunted Rod review
Moosewood sells plenty of rods, but the Haunted Rod is not one of the ones you can pick up today. It was tied to the FischFright event, and its description says the rod carries the event's cursed energy so it can catch FischFright mutations all year round. Right now it cannot be obtained.
On paper it is a middling tool: 50 Lure Speed, 50 Luck, 0.05 Control, 0 Resilience and a 1,000 kg weight cap. None of those numbers is remarkable, so its appeal was the passive rather than raw power. The 1,000 kg cap is also quite low for a rod with a passive.
If you are looking at it to plan a build, move on: the same Moosewood location lists the Flimsy Rod, Fast Rod, Crew Rod, Lucky Rod and Long Rod, and those are the rods you can actually buy there. Treat the Haunted Rod as a piece of event history. It matters mostly if you collect old FischFright gear or want to understand what the event's mutation rod looked like.
