That +820 Speed is the second-largest single reward in the Forest. One Bear plus literally any other Forest hatch clears the 900 Speed needed to enter Lake, so if you are carrying a Bear Egg home, your ticket to the next zone is nearly paid.
The 220 kg base weight is high for this tier. The wiki notes that bigger eggs are heavier and slow you down while you carry them, which is worth keeping in mind when you see an unusually large Bear Egg near a guardian.
