Swan guide
Guardian of the Lake, and its best Epic
The wiki lists the Swan as the guardian that watches the nests in Lake, and the pet that hatches from a Swan Egg is the zone's stronger Epic. It earns $320/s, ranking 8th of 11 Epic pets and 174th of 198 overall.
The Swan Egg grows in 2 minutes and pays +3.5k Speed and $32k.
The natural upgrade from the Bear
The Swan uses the exact same 2-minute egg as the Forest's Bear, but it is better in every column:
- Income: $320/s versus $240/s
- Speed reward: +3,500 versus +820
- Cash reward: $32k versus $24k
If a Bear is your best pet when you arrive at Lake, the first Swan you bring home should take its place.
Against Lake's other Epic, Trulimero Trulicina, the Swan earns $60/s more and gives 500 more Speed, at the cost of 30 extra seconds of growing.
Light base, efficient size rolls
The Swan's base weight is only 22 kg, far below the Bear's 220 kg or Trulimero's 140 kg. Since the wiki's formula scales income by actual weight divided by base weight, a moderately large Swan can already sit high on the multiplier curve. Estimates:
- Golden: about $800/s
- Rainbow: about $1.12K/s
- 10 times base weight (220 kg): about $1.32K/s
- 100 times base weight: about $5.48K/s
- 200 times base weight: about $7.58K/s
- Rainbow at 100 times base weight: about $19.2K/s
Three Swan eggs give 10,500 Speed, enough on their own for the 10K required by Desert.
