Where to get Walrus
Steal the Walrus Egg from the nests of the Snow biome, carry it back to your pen and let it hatch.

- 170K
- Guardian
- Yeti
The guardian sleeps next to the nest; the faster you are, the easier it is to outrun it. Bigger eggs are worth more but slow you down. Eggs & guardians

Walrus guide
Same timer as the Crocodile, more money
The Walrus Egg grows in 1 minute, exactly like the Jungle's Crocodile, but the Walrus earns $600/s against the Crocodile's $420/s. It is the only Epic in Snow, ranked 5th of 11 among Epics and 170th of 198 overall.
Its hatch reward is +14.4k Speed and $60k, the same Speed figure the Jungle's Tiger pays after a 6-minute wait.
A good filler for Snow
Snow's pets range from the Penguin at $140/s to the Ice Dragon at $65M/s, and the Walrus sits in the gap between the Rare and the Legendary:
- Penguin: $140/s, 45-second egg
- Walrus: $600/s, 1-minute egg
- Polar Bear: $7K/s, 2-minute egg
The jump to the Polar Bear is more than elevenfold, so the Walrus is mostly a quick egg to run while longer Snow eggs grow. Five Walrus eggs fit into one 5-minute nest reset and add 72k Speed toward Volcano's 700K requirement.
Riftborn and the Rift
The wiki puts the Walrus in the Medium tier of Riftborn sacrifices. Because the egg is short, a Walrus is one of the cheaper Medium pets to give up when Riftborn is live.
Estimated multipliers
Base weight is 200 kg. Using the formula the wiki documents:
- Golden: about $1.5K/s
- Rainbow: about $2.1K/s
- 10 times base weight: about $2.48K/s
- 100 times base weight: about $10.3K/s
- 200 times base weight: about $14.2K/s
- Rainbow at 100 times base weight: about $35.9K/s
The next Epic in the progression is Volcano's Lava Frog ($850/s, 90-second egg). A plain Walrus loses its place soon after you reach Volcano, while a Rainbow Walrus at 100 times base weight would reach Sabertooth Tiger territory.
