Beluga Whale guide
At $850K/s, the Beluga Whale is the highest-earning pet in Abyss Ocean that still hatches in minutes rather than hours. Everything above it in the zone, the Kraken and El Maja, needs hours of growth.
The last "fast" egg of the ocean
- Biome: Abyss Ocean, 7th in the biome order
- Entry requirement: 2.5M Speed
- Guardian: Moby
- Grow time: 12 minutes
- Reward: +126k Speed and $85m
Compare that with the Kraken, which needs 2h 15m. For a player who checks in often, a pen of Beluga eggs turns over roughly eleven times in the window one Kraken egg takes, and each hatch pays $85m in cash. The Kraken earns far more per second once it is out, so the two fill different roles: Beluga for steady cash turnover, Kraken as a long-term earner.
How it compares
The Beluga ranks 6th of 8 in its zone, 8th of 28 among Cosmic pets, and 83rd of 198 overall, counting from the lowest. Its closest neighbour is the Whale Shark, also Cosmic, which earns $700K/s but grows two minutes faster.
Size and mutation estimates
With a base weight of 5,000 kg, the Beluga is heavy to carry. Estimates from the wiki's formula (marked beta on the wiki):
- Golden: about $2.12M/s
- Rainbow: about $2.98M/s
- 10× base weight: about $3.52M/s
- 200× base weight: about $20.1M/s
- Rainbow and 100× weight: about $50.9M/s
