The halfway mark of the Mastery track
Uncoiled Armadillo is the middle reward of Dr. Scramble's Boss Mastery list: it is awarded at 50 Mastery Points, between Citadel Snail #007 at 25 and Mecha Chompa at 75. Since Update 6, defeating Dr. Scramble, who returns in his Mecha every 30 minutes, adds 1 point each time.
Fifty points means fifty defeats. Even catching every spawn, that is at least 25 hours of boss appearances, so this is a pet that rewards steady play over several days rather than a single session. Every victory also pays Samples for the Laboratory and pushes the separate 100-tier Boss Milestone track forward, so the time spent is not only for the Armadillo.
What it pays
- Cosmic rarity, $625K/s.
- 23rd of 28 Cosmic pets by income, and 15th of the 17 event pets the wiki lists.
- Roughly the same as the Rift's Ventinal ($585K/s).
Oddly, it earns far less than Citadel Snail #007, the reward one step earlier on the same track ($12.5M/s, a Mythic). On this list, rarity and point cost do not follow income.
Estimates
The wiki gives it a base weight of 1,234 kg, the same number it lists for the other Mastery reward pets, so weight figures should be read with caution. With the formula the wiki documents:
- Golden: about $1.56M/s
- Rainbow: about $2.19M/s
- Scrambled (×2.75, the Laboratory's mutation): about $1.72M/s
- 10× weight: about $2.59M/s
- 100× weight: about $10.7M/s
- Rainbow at 100× weight: about $37.4M/s
