Citadel Snail #007 guide

A 25-point Mastery reward
It is the second pet on Dr. Scramble's Boss Mastery list, which arrived with Update 6. Each time you defeat Dr. Scramble, who returns in his Mecha every 30 minutes, you gain 1 Boss Mastery Point. The thresholds are:
- Eye Bat #021: 10
- Citadel Snail #007: 25
- Uncoiled Armadillo: 50
- Mecha Chompa: 75
- Pink Dragon Experiment #010: 100
Twenty-five defeats means at least 12.5 hours of boss spawns, assuming you catch every one. Those same fights pay Samples for the Laboratory and advance the separate 100-tier Boss Milestone track.
Why it is a strong early target
Compared with the cheaper half of the Mastery list, this is the best return per point. Eye Bat #021 earns $115K/s for 10 points, and Uncoiled Armadillo, which costs double, earns only $625K/s. Citadel Snail #007 also out-earns several Secret pets from biome nests, such as the Snow biome's Yeti ($5M/s) and the Volcano's Cerberus ($8M/s). It ranks 12th of the 17 event pets and 93rd of 198 overall.
Estimates
The wiki lists a base weight of 1,234 kg, which it repeats for the other Mastery reward pets, so weight figures are less reliable here. Using the formula it documents:
- Golden: about $31.2M/s
- Rainbow: about $43.8M/s
- 10× weight: about $51.7M/s
- 100× weight: about $214M/s
- Rainbow at 100× weight: about $749M/s
