Crafted at the Secret Shrine
Update 4 split the biome into 8 Light and 8 Darkness animals, and Equinox is on neither list because it is a fusion of the two sides. The biome's Secret Shrine combines one Light pet with its Darkness counterpart of the same rarity, and the wiki gives the Equinox recipe directly: Pegasus (the Light Eternal) plus Skeleton Horse (the Darkness Eternal). The wiki lists no extra cost or success chance for the fusion. The egg's hatch reward is blank, so its Speed and cash payout is undocumented for now.
What is recorded: the Equinox Egg grows for 10 hours, twice the 5h of the other two Eternals here. Reaching the biome still means 20B Speed and slipping past ArchAngel, World Burner and Aetheron.
Is the long wait worth it
Ten hours in a pen slot is a lot, but the result is 6th of 24 Eternal pets by income, and only 18 pets in the game earn more. With the wiki's formula as a guide (estimates, not guarantees):

The X2 Growth Speed gamepass in the store (467 Robux) makes eggs grow twice as fast. On a 10-hour egg that difference is worth far more than on a short one, so if you already own it, Equinox is a natural egg to place before logging off.
