The strongest Epic of the early game

It ranks 3rd of 11 Epic pets and 168th of 198 overall, ahead of every Epic from the Forest through the Volcano, including the Volcano's Lava Frog at $850/s. It lives in the Abyss Ocean, second from the bottom of that biome's income list, above only the Parrotfish.

The +81k Speed is the largest hatch reward of any Epic so far, and it beats every Eternal and Secret egg in the first six biomes too. Two Swordfish eggs fit into a 5-minute nest reset, giving 162k Speed per cycle from one slot. Per second of growing that is about 675 Speed, behind the Parrotfish's 960 but with five times the income.
Prehistoric, the next zone, requires 18M Speed: about 222 Swordfish eggs if you relied on rewards alone. Treadmills and trails will do most of that work, with Swordfish and Parrotfish eggs topping it up.
