Bee — In-Depth Analysis
The Bee is a neutral entity in 99 Nights in the Forest that lives in the Bee Biome, which appears when the campfire is level 2 or higher. Bees wander aimlessly and ignore you until a player damages one. At that point the attacked bee and any others close enough chase the player until the player dies or leaves their detection radius. If a bee drifts too far from its spawn while calm, it teleports back with a puff of smoke, and a killed bee may respawn after a day.
Killing one can drop a Morsel (0-1) and a Honeycomb (0-1). The wiki advises against hunting them: honeycombs can be bought for 10 honey each and Morsels come from defeating wolves, while bees deal a decent amount of damage, which is risky early in a run.
A bee can also be tamed. With an Old Taming Flute or better, click it to start the taming minigame, during which it stays docile. Afterwards it asks for two Honeycombs, and the process must be repeated two times. A tamed bee deals high damage but has low HP, so it is a trade-off the player has to weigh. If a pet attacks a bee, the bee switches to targeting that pet until a player attacks it again.
