Beekeeper — In-Depth Analysis
The Beekeeper is an NPC added in the Bee mini biome update of July 25th, 2026. She only appears during the day, outside the Beekeeper's house in the Bee Biome, and sells items in exchange for pollen. Pollen is earned by planting flowers next to the beehives scattered around the biome, and there is also a garden of 11 flowers beside her house that you can pick.
Her stock costs between 10 and 360 pollen. Honeycomb costs 10 and restores some hunger and health. Revolver Ammo and Rifle Ammo cost 15 each. The Bee Grenade costs 30, gives 3 ammo per purchase and freezes enemies in place when thrown. The Jar o' Honey costs 40 and restores maximum hunger and health. A standard Spear costs 50, while the Honey Spear costs 100 and deals more damage with more range. The most expensive item is the Bee Box Recipe Tablet at 360 pollen, which produces Honeycomb every 2 days regardless of day multipliers.
Buying that tablet is also how you earn the Gardening badge, worth 4 diamonds at 2 stars of difficulty. The Beekeeper is the only source of the Bee Grenade, Jar o' Honey, Honey Spear and the tablet. She is one of the passive NPCs, walks in and out when day and night change, and can only spawn if you pick the Bee Biome, which takes the place of the Fairy and the Fairy Biome.
