Revolver Ammo — In-Depth Analysis
Revolver Ammo is the lifeblood of any Revolver build in 99 Nights in the Forest. Each pickup or craft reloads the gun's cylinder by 6 rounds, so without a stockpile your sidearm is just an expensive paperweight. Because the Revolver itself is one of the more common firearms, keeping ammo flowing is what actually decides whether you can rely on it.
The good news is that this ammo is widely scattered. You can find it in chests around Campfire level 2–4 areas, inside most structures (especially Misc Structures and the Armory), and by fueling the Ammo Furnace in the Volcanic Biome. Killing a Cultist can drop some, and the Pelt Trader sells it too. Choosing the Ranger or Gunslinger class also hands you a starting supply.
Is it worth grabbing? Always pick it up, even if you are not currently carrying a Revolver, because a gun is likely to appear later and ammo takes up little space. Hoard it during your early scavenging runs so that when a tough night arrives you can fire freely instead of rationing every shot.
