DOORS Halloween Event: The Candy Vault Guide

Guide
By RBLXGUIDESunday, October 25, 20269 min read

Quick Summary

The Candy Vault is DOORS's 2026 Halloween vision. This guide covers its dates, the Estate and Vault sections, the entities, the Sweet Deceit and Taking Candy From Abe badges, and the wiki's door 50 vault tips.

DOORS Halloween event: how The Candy Vault works

DOORS has a Halloween event this year, and the DOORS Wiki documents it. It is called The Candy Vault, it opened on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and it runs inside the game as a new vision (an alternate-reality mode) rather than as a separate place. This guide is built from the wiki's Candy Vault page, the Candy, Envelope and Achievements pages, and the entity pages for the creatures that show up. That page still carries "Stub" and "Outdated" tags and leaves a lot of fields at "TBA", so I mark what is settled and what is not.

Is DOORS really in The Hollow?

Yes, with a caveat on the dates. The Hollow is a Roblox-wide Halloween event, and the wiki's Update Logs header lists the Candy Vault entry as an invitation to it. The Candy Vault page explains the link: finishing the underground section awards the Sweet Deceit badge, which the wiki says the Roblox-led Hollow event requires. The connection is a badge, not a separate DOORS mode.

On dates, the wiki's infobox runs October 22 to November 9. GamesBeat's report on The Hollow gives October 22 through November 2 for the Roblox-side event, and it names Seek as DOORS's monster in that lineup (the wiki page never mentions Seek). Both date ranges can be true if DOORS keeps its vision up after Roblox's quest window closes, but neither source shows a developer post that settles it. Treat November 9 as the wiki's figure and check the in-game Lobby countdown before planning around the last day.

How The Candy Vault is built

The wiki splits the vision into two halves, and they play nothing alike.

Part one: The Estate

You arrive in a courtyard and walk to the mansion. Knocking on the door starts a cutscene in which Creak opens it, looking hostile, until Glitch steps in and the entity is revealed as Sir Abe C. II, this time with a male voice. He gives a tour and tells you to stay away from the Candy Vault.

This half is a looting phase, and the wiki mentions no time limit for it. The mansion has 5 routes to search, and keys are scattered on the ground or hidden in rooms. Jewelry Keys open item cases that hold rare items, and the wiki's examples are the Scanner, the Lunch Box and the Crucifix. Two friendly faces are here: Chef Cobbler stirring dough in the Dining Hall kitchen and Butler Honcho standing by the lower-right hallway (the censorship square over his face is gone). A long table on the lower-right side of the mansion displays a row of entities.

Eating candy gives 1 candy corn of the event currency, and objects around the estate pay out more.

Before the event: the Envelope

The wiki's Envelope page describes a very rare, limited-time item that could spawn on any floor, visions included. Using it opens a golden letter from Sir Abe C. II inviting you to his estate on October 22, and the item then vanishes. The page dates its arrival to a patch on October 10, 2026, and says it can be scrapped for 1 scrap. It is the first limited-time item the wiki lists in the base game.

Part two: The Vault

To go down you first solve a puzzle: unlock the vault with the larger opener. Once everyone is inside, a cutscene shows Sir Abe noticing you, failing to stop you and taking another route in. He pulls the fire alarm on purpose, which forces you onto the stairs instead of the elevator, and from then on he hunts you through the descent.

The underground is 50 doors and the wiki says it is familiar to anyone who knew the pre-update Stairwell, with extra entities. Somewhere along the way you find a machine that applies modifiers for a number of rooms, some temporary and some permanent. In a party the modifier only affects the player who took it, and a modifier can swap one entity out of the roster for another. The wiki's tips and bug list also talk about R.I.P. upgrades bought with candy; the page doesn't say outright whether that is the same machine.

Entities in The Candy Vault

The page splits entities into one new creature and several reskins of existing ones.

EntityType on the wikiWhereNotes from the wiki
WeavelingNew entityVault, possibly StairwellSpider-like, built from scrap, carries a scrappable item on its back and runs if you hold to grab it
Sir Abraham Creakstopher IIReskin of Creak, hostileManor and VaultHunts you after the fire alarm; behavior listed as TBA
Chef CobblerReskin, friendlyManor onlyTalk to him; he speaks Cobblish
Butler HonchoReskin, friendlyManor onlyCannot be interacted with and does not attack
Maid AlmaReskin, hostileVault, by chanceSame entity as Alma in a maid dress
Sadako NoiseReskin, hostileVault, by chanceNoise in a dress of static with long hair
Sadako HijackReskin, hostileVault, by chanceAppears when Ransom attacks while Sadako Noise is present
Pumpkin StemReskin, hostileVault, by chanceGlitch's riddle about small pumpkins trailing behind you points to Stem; behavior listed as TBA

The Treaters from the 2025 Trick or Treat vision return too, but the wiki says they now act like the Drones from The Archives. Ransom asks for 20 candy rather than the 500 gold it demands in The Archives. And standing on a scrapper hurts you quickly.

Glitch also talks at the start of a run, and the wiki matches his riddles to entities. Lines about silk and scurrying legs point to Weavelings, a whisper behind you to Screech, teeth in the grass to Snare, and a laugh that drops from the wall to Giggles. The same table covers Eyes, Drones, Socker, Lookman, Noise, Ransom, Alma and Stem, and one group of riddles is marked unconfirmed. Reading them is the cheapest way to know what the current run holds.

Candy, badges and rewards

Candy is the currency of the event, and you can spend it on Halloween item skins in the Lobby shop, as in the 2025 version. Two numbers matter:

  • Escaping the vault gives 3x candy.
  • Candy spent on item skins does not count toward the 10,000 needed for Taking Candy From Abe.
BadgeHow to get itWhy you care
Sweet DeceitReach the end of the underground sectionWiki says The Hollow needs it; 1,841,530 owners on October 24
Taking Candy From AbeCollect 10,000 candy in The Candy VaultFirst on the wiki's rarest-badges list, with 19,465 owners

How rare is the second one? The Achievements page lists it first among the rarest badges as of October 24, 2026, with 19,465 owners. The list is headed "non-secret", although the badge list page tags Charles Drowned, the next entry at 73,168 owners, as secret. Either way, Taking Candy From Abe sits well below the others. Check the achievements list for the full set.

The wiki also notes that the candy effects from earlier events (the Candy page lists 47) are documented for the 2024 and 2025 events. Whether all of them fire in The Candy Vault is not stated, although the tips below mention a duplication candy, so at least some do.

Strategy: the door 50 vault

The wiki's Tips section is short, and it all points at the vault waiting at door 50. Escaping gives triple candy, and that vault is where the 10,000-candy badge becomes realistic.

  1. 1Bring a Skeleton Key to door 50. The Skeleton Key has 5 uses, and the wiki recommends one that has been upgraded with Starlight.
  2. 2Bring a Pocket Mirror. The Pocket Mirror summons Portrait, which duplicates held items, and the tip says it doubles the number of vault doors you can open. You get the mirror by crucifying Portrait while holding a Crucifix. Portrait can duplicate almost everything you find in the event, edible candy excluded.
  3. 3Carry a Crucifix, a duplication candy, or both. The wiki lists them in the best solo setup without saying why, but both fit the theme: a Crucifix is how you get the mirror in the first place, and a duplication candy copies your items.
  4. 4Skip the R.I.P. upgrades unless you have a synergy. The wiki advises against spending candy there unless it combines with something you hold or you are chasing the badge.

Two cautions from other wiki pages. Portrait cannot duplicate essential items, items inside briefcases or lunch boxes, or heavy items, and how many copies you get depends on item rarity and party size. And watch your back while shopping: the bug list says Sir Abe can sneak attack through the gate while you pick a R.I.P. modifier if you aren't looking at him.

Candy Vault vs the 2025 Trick or Treat event

Both are Halloween visions, but they are different maps.

The 2025 event remains in the Visions tab; the wiki notes it is the only vision where progression is still enabled, which is why some Crucifix achievements fall faster there. See the update history for how visions were introduced.

Known bugs listed on the wiki

  • Going to landing 0 very early after the cutscene can teleport you outside and black out your screen.
  • Sir Abe can kill you through the gate while you choose a R.I.P. modifier.
  • Interacting with the entrance door can leave you softlocked on a black screen.
  • If Alma and Screech attack together, you cannot move the camera during Alma's minigame and Screech still hits you.
  • Dying to a crusher after being hit by Ransom and then reviving can leave you in limbo: you cannot die and cannot use the elevator.

What is still missing

Behavior text for Sir Abe, Maid Alma, Sadako Noise, Sadako Hijack and Pumpkin Stem is "TBA" on the wiki, and the Weaveling has a two-line description and nothing more. The sound list, the room count and the exact end date are provisional. The wiki infobox still reads "Upcoming" while the body says the event is out. Recheck the Candy Vault page before the final weekend.
