Lumilotl

Nothing in the Desolate Deep asks you to plan around weather or time. The Lumilotl, a Divine Secret fish, accepts any bait, any time of day, any weather and any season. Its quote calls it an elegant variant of the Axolotl that seems to have evolved.

The numbers are lopsided. Its weight runs from 0.6 kg up to 74,550 kg, an extreme that ranks 54th of 663 fish with a documented maximum. The average listed weight is 5,000.5 kg. At C$6 per kg that gives an average of C$30,003, 56th of the 742 documented fish by average value, plus 8,000 base XP. A lucky heavy roll pushes it well beyond that.

Reinforced Rod and Trident Rod are the two rods sold in the same zone, so both are natural starting points. The practical takeaway is to treat the Lumilotl as a high-value catch that does not need preparation. If you are in the Desolate Deep with nothing else to chase, it is worth casting for. Since conditions do not limit it, the only thing to improve is the rod you bring.
