Vinefish

Vinefish is Extinct and cannot be caught today. It belonged to the Second Sea, where it took Seaweed under Windy weather in Summer.

What it was worth is the unusual part: very little. It weighed 12 kg to 71.4 kg, averaging 23 kg, but at C$2.647 per kg an average sale was only C$60.9. That ranks 640th of 742 documented fish by value, and its 45 base XP is modest. By maximum weight it ranks 300th of 663, so it was a mid-sized fish with a bargain-bin price.

It shared the Extinct tier in its zone with Depth Drifter, Murkdrifter and Phantom Koi. The Adventurer's Rod is listed as the rod sold there.

The game describes a slender green fish with yellow fins, slithering through the currents with serpentine grace.

That is a surprisingly weak payout for something that no longer exists: the Extinct label says a fish is gone, not that it was valuable.

Verdict: leave it out of your planning. It is no longer available, and its numbers suggest you did not miss a high-value fish. Treat it as a small note about the Second Sea's past.
