Four Eyes Fish

Four Eyes Fish is flagged Unobtainable, so you cannot catch it now. It was an Extinct-rarity fish from Open Ocean in the Second Sea, caught with Lagoon Fish as bait in Windy weather during Spring.

Its stats are small for such a rare label. It averaged 18 kg (10 kg to 54.6 kg) and sold at roughly C$3.846 per kg, for an average of C$69.2. That puts its value at 625 of the 742 documented fish, near the bottom, while its maximum weight ranks 312 of 663, closer to the middle. A catch gave only 50 base XP.

The Extinct tier here is about what the fish is, not what it pays. Six other fish of that same rarity are documented in the same zone: Apex Leviathan, Black Swallower, Pelican Eel, Psychedelic Frogfish, Rock Gunnel and Sea Leviathan. Compared with them, this one is the humblest in weight terms and surely in appearance, a lilac fish with light purple fins. Treat it as a collector's curiosity: it matters for completing records of Open Ocean, and there is nothing practical to do with it today.
