Black Swallower guide
Black Swallower is an Extinct-rarity fish that used to live in Open Ocean, and the wiki lists it as unobtainable today. The old conditions were specific: Minnow bait, Night, Rain and Winter. The wiki describes a black fish with a big belly and blurple fins that swallows more than it should.
It was not a valuable catch. Its average sale of C$73.3 ranks 620th of 742 documented fish, and base XP is 55. Size is where it had some range: weights ran from 13 kg to 67.2 kg, with an average of 22.5 kg, which puts its maximum 301st of 663 fish.
Other Extinct fish in the same zone are Apex Leviathan, Four Eyes Fish, Pelican Eel, Psychedelic Frogfish, Rock Gunnel and Sea Leviathan. Compared with the Leviathans, this was the humble one. Since you can't fish it anymore, the useful takeaway is historical: the name belongs to that group of retired Open Ocean species, and nothing about it justifies mourning the loss.
