Free Spirit Rod review

The wiki lists Free Spirit Rod as removed, so you cannot get it now. It was sold for C$200,000 in the Mineshaft in the Second Sea, and its in-game description is an odd skeletal arm clutching a glowing gemstone, pulsing with restless energy from beyond.

Its stat line was balanced for a mid-game rod: Luck 150, Lure Speed 55, Control 0.15, Resilience 10 and a weight cap of 5,000 kg. It also carried a passive, but the wiki does not describe it, so we cannot say what the gemstone did. The 5,000 kg cap is modest, which tells you it was never meant for hauling monsters.

If you are trying to decide what to use instead, there is plenty of Luck available for less money: Cinder Block Rod (luck 300, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (luck 250, C$190,000) and Cupid's Embrace (luck 214, C$15,000) all exceed its 150 Luck. None of them have the skeletal-arm look, but all are obtainable and better on that one number.

Treat this page as a record of a removed item. If you still own one from before its removal, hold on to it for its collectibility and use it only if you like the passive.
