Treasure Rod review
The Treasure Rod is a C$50,000 purchase on Treasure Island, and the description promises a radiant rod with shimmering gems and a 20% chance for Coinfall. It has no passive tag, so the Coinfall chance is the whole gimmick.
The stat line leans on Luck 130, 85th of 184 obtainable rods, which is respectable but not elite. Lure Speed 30 is 154th, Control 0.12 is 73rd of 185, and Resilience 5 is 152nd. No weight limit is listed.
The price comparison matters here. Cupid's Embrace (Luck 214, C$15,000), Lucky Rod (Luck 177, C$4,500) and Fortune Rod (Luck 200, C$11,000) all offer more Luck for far less money. Lucky Rod gives about 36% more Luck at less than a tenth of the cost.
Because the Luck gap is so wide, the Treasure Rod only makes sense if you specifically want the Coinfall effect, or if you already hold the money and plan to be on Treasure Island anyway.
Verdict: for Luck alone, buy Lucky Rod, Fortune Rod or Cupid's Embrace first. The Treasure Rod is for completionists and coin chasers.
