Nibbles #013 guide
Nibbles, also called Experiment #013, is the escaped experiment at the center of the first Dr. Scramble event in Update 5. The pet version is a Cosmic that earns $185K/s, the lowest income of all 28 Cosmic pets, and its egg grows in 15 minutes.
Buying the egg with Samples
During that event, Dr. Scramble's drones invaded the map every 30 minutes. Destroying them dropped Samples, and the Experiment Shop sold a Nibbles #013 Egg for 2,950 Samples, shown as "3/3 left". The wiki notes that higher-health drones drop more Samples. For comparison, the same shop listed the Experiment #001 Egg at 6,500 Samples ("1/1 left") and the Scrambled Mutation consumable at 475.
The quest is a different reward
The story of Nibbles also drives a separate quest, and its reward is not the pet:
- Go to the cave on the left-hand wall of Abyss Ocean and talk to #013.
- Find Lost Part #1 inside the Volcano.
- Find Lost Part #2 behind the bush in Prehistoric, near the T-Rex.
- Collect 3 Drone Parts, a random drop from the drones.
Completing the five parts opens the Stolen Experiment Vault and grants the limited Scrambler bat.
Is it worth a pen slot?
At $185K/s it earns less than several Mythics from later biomes, such as Bladehide at $750K/s. Its value is mainly as a collectible from the event. Estimated with the wiki's formula, a Golden copy would earn about $462K/s and a Rainbow about $648K/s. The wiki gives no base weight for it, but by weight multiple the estimates are about $765K/s at 10× and $3.17M/s at 100×, and around $11.1M/s for a Rainbow at 100×.
