How to Unlock Every Character in Jujutsu Shenanigans: Free Picks, Early Access, Mahoraga and The Fallen

Jujutsu Shenanigans has 30 characters on this site's roster, and there are five different ways to unlock every character on it. Twenty-two are plain free picks, one needs Robux, two are transformations you only get mid-match, and five can't be picked in a normal public server at all. Everything here follows the fandom wiki as it read on 24 outubro 2026.

How to unlock every character in Jujutsu Shenanigans

Twenty-two characters are free and sit in the Characters list at the top left of the screen. Hired Killer needs the 300 Robux Early Access gamepass. Mahoraga and The Fallen are secret transformations that start from a Ten Shadows awakening move. The last five are limited to private servers, a boss lottery, a finished evento or developer accounts.

The five routes at a glance

The full roster has a page for each of the 30. The tier list only covers the 19 that have enough clean damage and cooldown numbers to rank.

The 22 free characters

Open the Characters list in the top-left corner and pick any of these. The cost field on every one of their wiki pages reads Free. In that list, base-only characters get a grey title, and they differ in one way: when they awaken they perform a single special move instead of switching to a new moveset. "Added" and "Finished" are the two version columns of the wiki's Characters page, with one exception: Head of the Hei is listed there as V1.65, but the Update Log and the character's own history both say V1.66, so the table uses V1.66.

Honored One is the character every new player starts with, so if you searched for how to get Gojo, you already own him. Mahito is Perfection. Choso is Blood Manipulator, Megumi is Ten Shadows and Yuta is Cursed Partners. Sukuna is split across three characters: Vessel pairs Yuji Itadori with Ryomen Sukuna and costs nothing, while Strongest Of History and The Fallen are covered below.

Several of these started life behind the paywall and went free later. The atualização log records public releases for Perfection in V1.40, Blood Manipulator in V1.42, Defense Attorney in V1.57.1, Head of the Hei in V1.69, Salaryman in V1.73, Crow Charmer in V1.75, True Cannon in V1.76, Disaster Plants in V1.82 and Sky Assassin in V1.83. The Gamepasses page adds that base-only and Overpowered characters usually go straight to the public, with Crow Charmer and Sky Assassin as the exceptions. Both were Early Access first: Crow Charmer for one version, V1.74, and Sky Assassin in V1.82.

Hired Killer: the one character you pay for

Early Access is a permanent 300 Robux gamepass. It opens every in-development moveset, including ones added in the future, and the wiki warns that you may meet bugs because those characters aren't finished. Right now that means Hired Killer, based on Toji Fushiguro and added in V1.84.

The wiki documents it thinly. It has three weapon forms, Split Soul Katana, Inverted Spear of Heaven and Chain of a Thousand Miles, and only the second and third move slots are written up. Split Soul Katana lists Flourish (5 damage, 15 second cooldown) and Debilitate (13 damage, 13 seconds). The spear form lists Transcend (12 damage, 14 seconds) and Rupture (14 damage, 15 seconds). The chain form lists Lasso (12 damage, 16 seconds) and Whiplash (5 damage, 15 seconds). Its Restricted passive lets you walk into domains and ignore most sure-hits (Malevolent Shrine and Incomplete Shrine still reach it, with their slash damage cut by 70%), in exchange for taking more damage from casters, which makes it the odd one out when you read the domain expansion rules. Because the character is unfinished, its awakening, Puppet of Carnage, only heals 50 HP and refreshes your cooldowns. The wiki lists its duration as None.

How to unlock Mahoraga

Mahoraga can't be picked from the Characters list. You become it by landing Ten Shadows' fourth awakening move, which is also called Mahoraga. The steps, as the wiki describes them:

1. 1Pick Ten Shadows (85 HP) and awaken. Insanity heals 15 HP and lasts 60 seconds.
2. 2Use Mahoraga, the fourth awakening move. It costs 40% of the Awakening Bar, marked unrequired, and has a 120 second cooldown.
3. 3Aim at an opponent within 60 studs. They're pulled into a three second ritual while you chant "With this treasure..." and "I summon...".
4. 4If nobody interrupts the chant, you take control of the shikigami.

The ritual starts at the Awakening progress you had before casting, but never below 40%. It replaces your bar with a Ritual bar that runs for 25 seconds and drains your HP whenever it's empty. Landing any ability refills it, except Ground Pitch and World Slash. The wiki lists 150 HP, the highest of any character, a 2x size and 1.5x M1 range. Summoning Mahoraga also costs you a life in Ranked duels and in Roulette, as covered on the game modes page.

How to unlock The Fallen

This one takes two players, and the wiki calls it extremely hard to obtain. One player runs Ten Shadows and casts Mahoraga. The other runs Vessel, awakens into King of Curses and interrupts the chant with Rush, the awakening moveset's third move (25 damage, 15 second cooldown). A cutscene follows where Sukuna feeds a finger to the Ten Shadows user and possesses them.

The bodies swap. The Vessel player becomes The Fallen with an Awakening meter that never drains, while the Ten Shadows player is stuck with Vessel's base moveset and no awakening. Both go back to their own bodies when they respawn, and the wiki notes you don't get the moveset back after dying.

The Fallen holds two kits and the awakening button swaps between them. The Shrine side has Dismantle (16 damage, 13 seconds), Cleave (10, 15 seconds), Rush (25, 15 seconds) and Cursed Strikes (17.5, 14 seconds). The Ten Shadows side has Rabbit Escape (14, 18 seconds), Nue (16, 20 seconds) and Toad (15 second cooldown). The wiki lists 100 HP in its infobox and also calls it as fragile as Ten Shadows with 85, and it describes the whole package as weaker than a normal awakening moveset, closer to a high-tier base kit. That's a steep price for a transformation.

Strongest Of History and Monkey Kid

Both are Overpowered characters. The route is a private server: its owner gets a "+" icon on the top bar, and the Server section has an Overpowered toggle that adds these characters to the selection menu. If you join a server where the toggle is off while playing one, you're switched to Honored One. The wiki describes private servers as free to buy.

Strongest Of History has a second route. In Roulette's Final Showdown, one random player becomes the boss. His health scales with the number of active players, he gets one life against the Sorcerers' three, and the six-minute timer counts as a boss win. Winning as him unlocks the achievement "The strongest of history" and a special Victory Flash. His base kit is brutal on paper: Cleave Rush deals 150 on a 5 second cooldown, Open FURNACE 70 on 12 seconds, Strong Dismantle 20 on 4 seconds and Kamutoke 15 per bolt on 7 seconds.

Monkey Kid lists its cost as Private Server and Tester+ Exclusive. The Titles page describes the Tester title as reserved for the game's testers and balancers. Its kit is lighter: Kamehameha 20 on 10 seconds, Staff Uppercut 10 on 12, Staff Extend 15 on 15 and Ki Spam 49 if every blast lands, on 12 seconds.

Cursed Child, Mokou and Super TZE

None of these three can be unlocked in normal play.

Cursed Child was part of the JJS x JSD collaboration with Jump Showdown on 20 fevereiro 2026. A glowing red portal at the subway tunnel exit led to a room with a red knife, and picking it up turned you into an upgraded boss version with three lives. When it died, a heart flew toward the nearest player and turned them into the boss on contact. The cost field now reads Unavailable. It had 100 HP as a normal character and 250 as the boss.

Mokou's cost is listed as Developer-Only, with an added version of V1.60 followed by a question mark and an unconfirmed 100 HP. Super TZE's cost field says "Being Tze", so only the developer or people he lets in can play it. The wiki itself says these developer characters are hard to document because nobody can get the data without access.

Where the wiki disagrees with itself

A few numbers don't line up, and it's better to know before you quote them.

• The Characters page says it lists 29 known characters and 15 full ones, but its Full table has 16 rows because Mahoraga sits inside it. It never lists The Fallen, which has its own page and was added in V1.84. Counting The Fallen gives 30.
• The Gamepasses page says 13 characters have been in Early Access, then names 15. It also says Register is the only character in Early Access right now.
• Register's own page lists the cost as Free, and the Characters page says there are two Early Access characters while its table shows only Hired Killer.

How do I unlock Mahoraga in Jujutsu Shenanigans?

Play Ten Shadows, awaken with Insanity, then use the fourth awakening move, Mahoraga. It needs a target within 60 studs, costs 40% of the Awakening Bar (marked unrequired) and has a 120 second cooldown. If the three second chant isn't interrupted, you take control of Mahoraga for a 25 second Ritual bar.

How do I get The Fallen?

You need a Ten Shadows player and a Vessel player. As an awakened Vessel, interrupt the Ten Shadows player's Mahoraga chant with Rush. The two of you swap bodies and you become The Fallen with an Awakening meter that doesn't drain, until you respawn.

How do I get Sukuna in Jujutsu Shenanigans?

There are three Sukuna characters. Vessel is a free pick. Strongest Of History needs a private server with the Overpowered setting or a turn as the Final Showdown boss in Roulette. The Fallen comes from interrupting Ten Shadows' Mahoraga with Vessel's Rush.

How much does Early Access cost and what does it unlock?

The Early Access gamepass costs 300 Robux, is permanent and unlocks in-development characters, including future ones. Hired Killer is the character that needs it today according to its page. The wiki warns unfinished characters can be buggy.

Can I still unlock Cursed Child?
