Brute Cultist

The Brute Cultist is a cave-dwelling tank and one of the heavier human enemies you will face. Its stats tell the story plainly: 400 HP and 40 damage, the largest health pool of any creature in this batch — even more than the Bear — paired with hits hard enough to drop you fast if you stand still. Its walkspeed is still TBA, but with that much health you should plan for a prolonged exchange regardless of how quickly it moves.

You will find it in the Caves, sharing that dark territory with the Shadow Cultist, and lore-wise these brutes are worshippers of The Bat. That context matters tactically: caves are cramped, escape routes are limited, and a 400-HP enemy in tight quarters can pin you against a wall. Bring the strongest weapon you have, keep an exit lane open, and ideally engage with a teammate so you can split its attention.

Note the empty drop table and no taming option — there is no published loot reward and you cannot recruit it. That makes the Brute Cultist a pure obstacle: a wall of HP guarding cave progression rather than a farm target, so only fight it when the path forward demands it.
