Onett — In-Depth Analysis
Onett debuted at the Honey Compressor during the Bizzy Bee Event and, unusually for an event character, stuck around afterward as the permanent Honey Merchant beside the Cosmetics Shop. He runs a weight-based conversion: feed him Pollinated fruits and earn 10 Honey per 10kg, with the Compressor taking 30 seconds to process before you can collect (down from the original 2 minutes).
The mechanic that defines optimal play is that only weight matters, not the fruit's Sheckle value. This flips normal farming logic on its head — instead of chasing high-value crops, you want the heaviest possible Pollinated fruit, regardless of how little it sells for. Bulk and kilograms are the currency here, so the best Honey grind is mass-producing big, cheap, easily-pollinated plants rather than premium ones.
Because the Pollinated mutation comes from bee activity, the loop is to maximize pollination coverage, harvest heavy fruit in volume, and cycle it through Onett on his fast 30-second timer. As a fun aside, Onett is the real Bee Swarm Simulator developer, and his dialogue is packed with references to that game's mechanics like the Supreme Sprout and Royal Jelly.
