Lava Iguana guide
The Lava Iguana pays more Speed per hatch than the Volcano's Mythic does. Its egg gives +36k Speed, while Chillin Chilli, the rarer pet above it, gives +33k. That quirk makes the Iguana the strongest Speed egg in the Volcano apart from the Secret and Eternal pets at the top.
As an earner, the Lava Iguana makes $11K/s, ranking 11th of 21 Legendaries and 156th of 198 overall (tied with Rift Eye). It is the higher of the biome's two Legendaries, ahead of the Flaming Bull at $9.5K/s.
Lava Iguana Egg
- Grow time: 4 minutes
- Reward: +36k Speed and $1.1m
- Base weight: 400 kg
A 4-minute egg fits inside one 5-minute nest reset. Pair it with a 1-minute Lava Gecko (+24k) in the same window and you collect 60k Speed per cycle from two slots.
Iguana versus Chilli
- Lava Iguana (Legendary): $11K/s, 4-minute egg, +36k Speed
- Chillin Chilli (Mythic): $55K/s, 7-minute egg, +33k Speed
The Chilli earns five times as much, but its egg runs past a full reset cycle. If your priority is reaching Abyss Ocean's 2.5M Speed requirement, the Iguana is the better egg to cycle; if it is income, the Chilli wins.
