Where to get Spider
Steal the Spider Egg from the nests of the Jungle biome, carry it back to your pen and let it hatch.
- Speed required
- 40K
- Guardian
- Tiger
The guardian sleeps next to the nest; the faster you are, the easier it is to outrun it. Bigger eggs are worth more but slow you down. Eggs & guardians

A Hard-tier Rift pet
The wiki puts the Spider in the Hard tier of the Riftborn sacrifice pool, next to the Tiger, King Mammoth, Whale Shark and Beluga Whale. That reflects what it takes to get one: it is a Mythic from the Jungle, earning $22K/s and ranking 21st of 23 Mythics and 150th of 198 overall.
Spider Egg
- Grow time: 4 minutes 30 seconds
- Reward: +12.6k Speed and $2.2m
- Base weight: 120 kg
The Desert twin
The Spider mirrors the Desert's Sand Spider closely. Both have a 120 kg base weight and both pay +12.6k Speed. The Jungle version earns $22K/s instead of $16K/s, about 38% more, for 30 extra seconds of growing, and its cash reward rises from $1.6m to $2.2m.
Inside the Jungle the choice is between the Spider and the Tiger:
- Spider: $22K/s, 4:30 egg, +12.6k Speed
- Tiger: $28K/s, 6-minute egg, +14.4k Speed
The Tiger earns about 27% more but takes a minute and a half longer. The Spider egg fits inside a single 5-minute nest reset, which the Tiger's does not.
Mutation and size estimates
From the wiki's documented formula:
- Golden: about $55K/s
- Rainbow: about $77K/s
- 10 times base weight: about $91K/s
- 100 times base weight: about $376K/s
- 200 times base weight: about $521K/s
- Rainbow at 100 times base weight: about $1.32M/s
A 100x Spider would outearn the Desert's Royal Sphinx ($280K/s) and the Lake's Leviathan ($220K/s), both Cosmic pets with eggs of 25 minutes or more.
If Riftborn asks for a Spider, give up a plain one and keep any Golden or Rainbow copies.
