Void Angler guide
Void Angler is a Legendary from the Rift that earns $30K/s, about 2.7 times Rift Eye, the only Rift pet below it. Among the 21 Legendary pets it ranks 5th, tied with Cosmic Gecko, and it earns twice what the Legendary Shark makes in Abyss Ocean.
Timing the banners
The permanent Rift in the lobby rotates between three banners, Riftborn, Riftbeasts and Shattered Rift, each with five exclusive animals. According to the Update 3 notes, the rotation happens every 3 hours and is synchronized across all servers, so switching servers does not change which banner is live. The wiki does not record which banner carries Void Angler, so there is no way to plan a specific window for it from the wiki alone.
Two details from the wiki's Rift FAQ help when you are pulling repeatedly:
- Pity carries over. Leaving the game or a banner rotation does not reset it.
- The Rift asks for 3 random pets per Rift Egg, drawn from the active banner's Easy, Medium or Hard tier.
Keep in mind that Update 6 says the Rift Trade-In Machine was replaced by Dr. Scramble's Laboratory. The wiki's Rift page has not been updated to say whether the sacrifice still runs as described.
Income with mutations and weight
The wiki lists a base weight of 13,000 kg. Using its documented formula, Void Angler would earn about $75K/s as Golden and $105K/s as Rainbow. Weight takes it further: roughly $124K/s at 10× base weight, $513K/s at 100× and $711K/s at 200×. A Rainbow at 100× weight comes to about $1.8M/s, which would put it above several Cosmic pets in base income.
The wiki gives no grow time or hatch reward for its egg.
