Where to get Void Serpent
Void Serpent hatches from the Riftbeasts Egg, one of the Rift eggs. It is tied to the Rift event, not to a regular biome nest.

Void Serpent guide
Void Serpent is the second-best pet the Rift offers, at $900M/s, and the top of its three Eternals. Only Shattered Colossus, a Divine at $3.5B/s, earns more. In the full Eternal ranking it sits 13th of 24.
Why the Rift trade looks lopsided at this level
The lobby Rift asks for 3 random pets from the active banner's Easy, Medium or Hard tier. Across all three banners, the highest-earning pet the wiki lists in any tier is Rhinotaur, a Hard request on Shattered Rift, at $17.5M/s. Void Serpent earns about 51 times that. Even a Hard request of three top-tier pets gives up far less income than this pet produces, if the egg lands on it.
That is a big "if": the wiki does not publish Rift Egg odds or say which banner carries Void Serpent, so there is no way to target it directly. The FAQ does confirm that pity carries over when you leave or when the banner rotates, every 3 hours across all servers.
Also worth knowing: Update 6 replaced the Rift Trade-In Machine with Dr. Scramble's Laboratory. The Rift page still describes the sacrifice without saying whether it changed.
The "Void" pets side by side
- Void Angler, Rift, Legendary: $30K/s
- Voidmaw, Rift, Mythic: $50K/s
- Void Dragon, event, Event rarity: $120M/s
- Void Serpent, Rift, Eternal: $900M/s
The shared name does not imply a shared source; the wiki lists Void Dragon as an event pet.
Estimates
The wiki lists a base weight of 14,000 kg. With its documented formula, a Golden Void Serpent would earn about $2.25B/s and a Rainbow about $3.15B/s. Weight brings roughly $3.72B/s at 10×, $15.4B/s at 100× and $21.3B/s at 200×. A Rainbow at 100× weight comes to about $53.9B/s.
