World Eater opens the Eternal tier of the Rift. It is the cheapest of the Rift's three Eternals at $500M/s, 4th of 16 Rift pets by income, and 18th of 24 Eternal pets in the game.
How it compares with the biome Eternals
The Eternals you can steal from nests come with long grow times, which the wiki documents. World Eater falls between two of them:
- Eternal Lunar Dragon, Cosmic biome: $250M/s, egg grows 7h, reward +1.9m Speed and $25b
- World Eater, Rift: $500M/s
- Oni Tiger, Cherry Blossom biome: $600M/s, egg grows 8h, reward +5.4m Speed and $60b
The wiki gives no grow time or hatch reward for World Eater's egg, so it cannot be compared on those terms. On income alone it doubles the Lunar Dragon and trails Oni Tiger by about 17%.
Getting it from the Rift
The Rift that hands out pets sits in the lobby. Per the wiki, it requests 3 random pets, drawn from Easy, Medium or Hard tiers of the active banner, and gives back one exclusive Rift Egg. Banners rotate every 3 hours on a schedule shared by all servers, and pity carries over if you leave or the banner rotates. The wiki does not say which banner contains World Eater.
One open question: Update 6 replaced the Rift Trade-In Machine with Dr. Scramble's Laboratory, and the Rift page does not say whether the sacrifice still works as described.
