Wendigo guide
Wendigo is the point where Rift pets start earning real money: $15M/s, nearly double Shattered Ram and 12 times Abyss Overlord, the other Secret below it. It ranks 7th of 16 Rift pets, and 27 of the 35 Secret pets earn more.
Which mutation is worth chasing
The wiki documents eight color mutations. Applied to Wendigo's base income, the estimates using its formula look like this:
- Rainbow (×3.5): about $52.5M/s; a hatch roll with weight 1 of 100.
- Parasite (×3): about $45M/s; comes from the Parasite Egg of the feeding event.
- Fractured (×2.75): about $41.3M/s; 10% Mutation Shard or Boss Mastery eggs.
- Golden (×2.5): about $37.5M/s; a hatch roll with weight 4 of 100.
- Silver (×1.2): about $18M/s; a hatch roll with weight 6 of 100.
For a Rift pet, Fractured is the one tied to the same event: the Rift boss that spawns every 30 minutes pays Boss Tokens for the Mutation Shard, and the Boss Mastery track rewards eggs pre-loaded with Fractured. The shard works on eggs that are still growing.
Getting Wendigo
The wiki lists Wendigo among the pets of the lobby Rift, which trades 3 random pets for one exclusive Rift Egg under three banners rotating every 3 hours. It does not say which banner includes it. Update 6 replaced the Rift Trade-In Machine with Dr. Scramble's Laboratory, and the Rift page has not explained whether the sacrifice still runs as described.
Size
The wiki lists a base weight of 12,000 kg. Following its formula, a 10× hatch would earn roughly $62.1M/s, 100× about $257M/s and 200× about $355M/s. A Rainbow at 100× weight would approach $898M/s.
