Yeti guide
Snow's nests are guarded by the Yeti, according to the wiki, and the Yeti Egg is the second-biggest prize behind it. The pet is a Secret-rarity earner at $5M/s, ranked 32nd of 35 Secrets, and 99 of 198 pets earn more overall.
Yeti Egg
- Grow time: 1 hour 45 minutes
- Reward: +25.6k Speed and $500m
- Base weight: 1,500 kg
That grow time spans 21 of the 5-minute nest resets the wiki describes.
The Secret ladder
- King Snake (Jungle): $3.5M/s, 1:30 egg
- Yeti (Snow): $5M/s, 1:45 egg
- Cerberus (Volcano): $8M/s, 2-hour egg
Fifteen more minutes than the King Snake buys about 43% more income. Snow's own top pet, the Eternal Ice Dragon, earns $65M/s but needs four hours, more than twice the Yeti's wait.
Speed contribution
The +25.6k Speed reward is the second-largest in Snow after the Ice Dragon's +32k. Volcano requires 700K, so a single Yeti hatch covers under 4% of that target. Treat the Yeti as a money pet; treadmills and trails will do more for your Speed.
A light base for a Secret
At 1,500 kg the Yeti's base weight is a fraction of the King Snake's 10,000 kg or the Cerberus's 9,000 kg. Because the wiki's formula compares actual weight to base weight, an unusually large Yeti egg can translate into a strong size multiplier. Estimates:
- Golden: about $12.5M/s
- Rainbow: about $17.5M/s
- 10 times base weight: about $20.7M/s
- 100 times base weight: about $85.6M/s
- 200 times base weight: about $118M/s
- Rainbow at 100 times base weight: about $299M/s
The Yeti is not listed in any Rift sacrifice tier, so there is no Rift reason to part with one.
