Here's a detail that changes how you value a Krakenoid: its Mecha form, Mecha Krakenoid, earns $1B/s, only double the plain $500M/s. That means a Golden Krakenoid, at an estimated $1.25B/s, already out-earns a plain Mecha Krakenoid.
Second of six monsters
Update 2 put the Monster Egg in the Robux Store with six monsters, each with a rare Mecha variant. The wiki lists the egg as limited, and Update 4 replaced it with the Luminous Egg. Krakenoid is the second-best result inside:

It's a long jump from Crocodon, about 17 times, and Dreadscale is four times higher still. The wiki has no grow time, hatch reward or Mecha odds for Krakenoid.
Why the Mecha bonus shrinks
At the bottom of the egg the Mecha roll multiplies income thousands of times (Scorpio about 4,500x). By Krakenoid it's just 2x. In practice, a plain Krakenoid with a good color or size roll competes directly with its Mecha twin, which isn't true for any of the monsters below Crocodon.
